If you live in Northern Canada and wish to grow your own fruit, it is absolutely essential to plant trees that are genuinely cold-hardy to your region. At the same time, we believe that cold hardy fruit trees should not be a compromise on taste! All the fruit and nut trees you will find here have proved themselves in at least zone 4. A few are even hardy up to zone 1! Moreover, they all produce fruit that is truly high-quality, and a joy to grow in your backyard.
Our trees have been grown naturally in the soil, and fed on sunshine, compost and mulch. We are proud to take care of the entire production cycle ourselves, from planting the seeds to shipping the package. Since we produce bare-root trees, they can only be shipped in April and May. Our website is therefore open for orders each year from January until May. We suggest ordering early to avoid disappointment.
Besides our standard list of cultivars, in our ‘Collection’ section you will find some additional cultivars and varieties from our experimental orchards, in which we have been testing hundreds of new and exciting trees from all around the world for many years. The trees on offer in this section will change each year, and are available in limited quantities only.
