Plum tree – Petite Soeur de la Mont-royal

Zone 4 self-fertile: European-type plum tree. Produces pretty round plums, dark blue in colour, with very sweet and aromatic flesh. We discovered the tree by chance in St-Alexis, Montcalm. It resembles the Mont Royal plum tree and we believe it may be a seedling of it. It is one of the hardiest European plum trees we have found. Susceptible to black knot disease.
